His Beatitude Mar Polis III Nona Visits St. George Church

 

Monsignor Polis Mangana, Parish Priest of St. George Chaldean Catholic Church in Melbourne, joyfully welcomed His Beatitude Mar Polis III Nona, Patriarch of the Chaldean Church, together with the priests and accompanying delegation, at the church this morning. The visit took place in a prayerful atmosphere of faith, love, and joy.

 

The faithful expressed their happiness at this blessed paternal visit, which brought words of encouragement, hope, and peace.

 

Monsignor Polis Mangana warmly welcomed His Beatitude and affirmed that his paternal presence among his children is a source of blessing, consolation, and great joy for all. On behalf of the parish, he presented a simple gift as a sign of the faithful’s gratitude for His Beatitude’s blessed paternal visit.

 

Also present at the reception were Fr. Saleem Goga, Fr. Emmanuel Korial, the church deacons, and parish groups.

 

The Love and Joy Group — St. George Brothers and Sisters for People with Special Needs — also joined the parishioners in welcoming His Beatitude, together with their team, priests, deacons, and parish groups. They expressed their love and joy at meeting the Father Patriarch and receiving his paternal blessing.
